Amy has experience as a risk manager and as a communication and management consultant. She served as adjunct professor at Wake Technical Community College in the School of Business.  Currently, she is an acting judge for various legal competitions including moot courts and client counseling.

Ms. Nuttall is a member of the Susie Sharp Inn of Court, having served as secretary-treasurer for two terms.  She also volunteers for local organizations assisting families in distress, including those that work to prevent child abuse and offer aid to homeless families.  She has served as a SAFEChild Parenting Instructor, and volunteered with the Pan Lutheran Agape program for homeless families, where she coordinated monthly birthday parties for residents of the program.

In her leisure time, Amy goes sailing with her family, enjoys time outdoors and explores many avenues of adventure.  She wakes up to life each day full of energy and ready to serve North Carolina families.
