JENNIFER S. DRORBAUGH
Jennifer
Drorbaugh is an attorney who has been passionately dedicated to families and
children since high school. Jennifer grew up in
New York City
and attended
Manhattan
’s
Stuyvesant
High School. She attended the
Honors
College
at the
University
of
Vermont
and graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Political Science and Psychology
before earning a scholarship to law school at the
University
of
North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Prior to attending law school, Jennifer worked for the state of
Vermont
’s public school system establishing after-school programs for underprivileged
youth. While in law school, Jennifer volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem and
received an award for performing more than one hundred pro bono hours on behalf
of children and families in domestic violence and juvenile court. She also won a
spot on the four member National Mediation Competition team and competed for UNC
at the regional National Mediation Competition. Jennifer has experience in the
domestic violence, juvenile, and criminal courtrooms. She has also worked to
protect the rights of children and families in dealing with school matters and
government agencies.
Jennifer
believes that “counselor” is an important synonym for attorney and that
periods of family change are often the most impacting and memorable. She strives
to assist families in negotiating these changes for the betterment of all
involved.
When
not at work, Jennifer enjoys travel and water sports. She is an avid reader and
passionate fan of the New York Yankees.
